The Sustainable Industrial Operations Student Team participates in launching an awareness campaign to preserve the environment.

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Noori Hamzah, and under the supervision of the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajami Sukkar, the Sustainable Operations Team in the Chemical Engineering Department/Chemical Process Engineering Branch organized a sustainable green campaign in the Chemical Engineering Department. The campaign included an environmental awareness campaign and the planting of trees and seedlings in the department’s gardens on National Tree Planting Day. Under the supervision of the Branch Head, Prof. Dr. Aswar Abdul Rasoul, the campaign also included the team’s preparation of green spaces, promoting environmental awareness, fostering interest in nature, and improving the environment. It is worth noting that the Sustainable Operations Team was established in 2024.
