The most important research interests for the Department of Chemical Engineering are in the field of heat transfer inside the fluidized bed columns along with the areas of evaporation, condensation, energy conservation, the balance of liquid-vapor and in the designation of data for kinetic reactions within the design of chemical reactors, including for example the bubble reactors, the packed reactors, and also in the fields of environment pollution besides the two-phase flow steam-liquid or multi-phase flow in order to determine the best conditions within the mixing processes and fluidized bed columns as well as in the areas of process control, process modeling, mass transfer by adsorption, composite and polymeric materials, coating, corrosion, in addition to the areas of catalysts and catalysis, and also for the determination of the best conditions for distillation in the petrochemical industries along with the study of corrosion conditions in mass transfer operations.
