The President of the University of Technology visits the student dormitories and supervises the distribution of Ramadan baskets to students of the Chemical Engineering Department.

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Noori Hamzah, and in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajami Sukkar, the faculty members and affiliates of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology organized a voluntary campaign to distribute 80 diverse Ramadan food baskets to the department’s students living in the dormitories, in the presence of Dr. Muhaimin Al-Yasiri, Director of the Department of Dormitory Sections, the administrative and technical staff, and the supervisor of the dormitories.

During the visit, the University President was briefed on what was specifically mentioned by the female students in the dormitories and the most important requirements for the students. In this regard, he directed to remove all obstacles and provide all services that ensure comfort for male and female students in the dormitories. The University President also supervised the distribution of a variety of food baskets to the students in the dormitories of the Chemical Engineering Department. This initiative comes as part of the university’s efforts to support its students during the holy month of Ramadan, and provide them with basic food supplies, emphasizing the spirit of social solidarity and enhancing the Ramadan atmosphere on campus.
